Summer is here!

The calendar says it is summer, but here in the fraser valley we are not quite sure. I do remember wearing shorts a few weeks ago but so far this week it is not hot enough for that. The weather is good for growing, that is for sure, the grass and vineyard are growing very fast. The lilies have started with Suddenly Susan the first one to bloom, with Trebiano (yellow) starting to show some colour as well. Roses are out in full bloom now as well as Sweet William, Cosmos, daylilies and delphiniums. The weather channel says that it is going to be nicer each day this week so it will be beautiful in the vineyard this weekend. Have a great weekend.
