This week at Willow Creek Vineyard

It was busy this week at Willow Creek Vineyard, we hosted the Women in Fraser Valley Networking meeting on Monday evening and it was great fun, thank you to Bernadette Maquire and Sequel Events for organizing the evening.

I have been busy watering, weeding and staking up the flowers, my lilies are starting and I will have Suddenly Susan (I spray type lily that is a burnt orange with painted on burgundy accent) for sale this week. Trebaino (a big yellow) and Monte Negro (big dark orange) are not far behind.

Strawberry & oat scone, apple and strawberry tart and candied walnuts, these are from our tree

Ii hope everyone has a great weekend, get out there and pick some local strawberry's, they taste great and there are a lot of ready picked and you pick fields in the valley. Check out the Downtown Chilliwack Farmer's Market opening on Saturday June 4, 9:30am to 2:00pm.
